Use Free Money First

Use Free Money First

The reason that recommendations for ‘free money’ are advised are simple — get your hands on what you can get your hands on and invest in education. There is no better investment in your future than furthering your education in the right direction. In a tough economy, one needs to face the facts and realize simply getting an education with any old degree does not hold much value.

In fact, there is little reason to believe that a college education that is misdirected is even worth the expense. So please mind the difference. Save time and money by choosing a program that related to both bettering yourself and advancing your vocational outlook.

Back to free money, the reason free money is advised first is because college can be very expensive. Of course the investment, as stated earlier, is absolutely worthwhile. However, the expense can set you back financially at a time when getting set back is not much of a help. During the formative years that are your twenties and thirties, building a life is expensive, and having school debt is a giant headache.

So again, our initial drive as students preparing for school ought to be this:

How can I get my hands on free money?

There are two ways:

  • Grants
  • Scholarships

And robbing a bank does not count!
