CAHSEE Test
The CAHSEE test is a test that is based in California. It is applied to high school students, and is otherwise termed in its non-abbreviated version as the The California High School Exit Examination. It is based upon the principle of a state litigation that was passed in California, Assembly Bill 347. The students that fail this test are obligated to pursue”intense instruction” for the least of 2 years, and only when completing this intense test do they obtain their High School diploma. This instruction may include: counseling, extra classes,periodic diagnostic assessments, group instruction, and extra teachers or tutors
Basic Components of the CAHSEE Test
The main topics of academics that are covered in the CAHSEE test are Mathematics, Language, and English. The State Board of public education in California sets the standards and develops the exam. The subjects are broken down into sub topics, for instance the Language and English categories covered focus on the writing, reading, and comprehension factors of the subject. This part evaluates vocabulary usage and understanding, informational and non-fiction reading skills, and comprehension of literature and writing. The math part of the test is divided into statistics, probability, problem solving, algebra, data collection, percentages, fractions, decimals, and geometry.
